Front cap cracks

I had several cracks repaired in my front cap in October. Today I was waxing the cap and found another crack in the same area.
I wonder if this is going to be a on going problem.
Anyone else having the same issue?

We have a new 2016 Eagle 338RETS. The dealer found hairline cracks in our nose cap while detailing for our delivery. They insisted on replacing the entire cap to prevent future issues. We wondered if it was really necessary as we were wanting to get our trailer but they said that the cracks would just continue to grow as time passed. From what you are saying, kind of glad we let them do it.

I think you are lucky that they will replace it. Jayco would not replace ours but did pay for the repair. We were 1 month out of warranty when we found the original cracks, we are now 11 months out.

Yes, it was a costly repair so I don't doubt they would rather fix than replace. They said the cap was $1,000, plus another $1,000 for freight. Then add two men and 12 hours labor!

We had a few cracks and creases in ours from day one. Jayco paid the dealer to replace, which was done by a bunch of hacks. Contacted Jayco and brought the trailer down to the factory and they replaced it a second time. Was a 6 hour round trip to drop of then pick up, but well worth the front being replaced right.
