Front end of trailer issue

Should I be concerned about this or is it just typical of trailers? Trailer is new and has never leaked. I checked seals and it looks fine.

I would be extremely concerned. Since it is new, a warranty claim is in order.

Good Luck and keep us posted.

My 2013 Eagle

I have a similar sized bubble on the rear of mine and its getting a new wall this winter, under warranty. When I spoke to the Jayco rep he didn't hesitate to say it needed attention. They offered to do the work at the factory but I opted for local. The 3000 mile round trip was the deal breaker. I would have loved it to be done there in Indiana if they would have offered to lowboy it.

I would take the TT in ASAP so that the issue is entered in the Jayco Warranty Service Claim system..., then arrange for repair at the end of the camping season.

Is that a JayFlight? The bubble isn't normal and for sure needs to be fixed, but the bumps and that visible line and screws is all too common. Seen plenty of them like that new on the lot. Mines not perfect for sure. No delam at all, no bubbles. Mine doesn't look perfect at the top radius, but there is no issue, just how it fit together. Some might would take my rig back, but I've learned that sometimes it's better to leave well enough alone.

Not saying it's right, but I'm guessing the little bumps in the lower part of the picture have always been there, and the delam just recently showed up. Correct? Is it a JayFlight. Just guessing by the color and decals. No doubt Jayco will fix it for you, and I would pursue that due to the delam portion. Not sure how far you are from Middlebury, but that would be where I'd take it.

Yes, it is a Jayflight 27RLS. The bubble just showed up when it got hot this summer. Unfortunately, I am about 2000 miles west of Middlebury so I will probably take it back to the dealership.

Can't blame you for not wanting to do the 2000 miles. Hey, at least it's the front wall and not a side wall. Pretty easy change out really. Only have to deal with clearance lights and hitch light as far as wiring goes. Hoping you have a good dealer and they'll take care of you. Please post back with any updates.

I would call the dealership, schedule a timeslot, and ask if you can send photos, so that they can start the warranty claim paperwork.

To get the ball started and get your issue on record, take a picture and send it along with a request as to how this issue should be handled to service@jayco.com.

This way when you are ready, the process for the warranty work will be done, and all you have to do is drop off the TT.
