Furnace problem

I have a new 2015 Eagle 342BHTS
the t-stat is "Coleman Mach". Ive had the trailer only a few weeks.
We woke up freezing today. The furnace only comes alive when I turn the t-stat off/on, then it blows cold for about 2 minutes and then shuts off.

Any ideas about what this problem is and what I can do?

Sounds like its not getting fuel (propane).

If your tank is empty or the valve is closed this is the obvious reason why it may not work. We ran out of propane a few weeks ago and it did the same as what you describe, came on and blew air, then shut off after a while.

Might also be the igniter if your propane is getting to the furnace. Listen and see if you can hear it click on.

If it was working and then stopped you ran out of propane. After running out and switching tanks, Light the stove top to make sure propane is flowing and to help clear the line of any air. May take several cycles to get furnace firing again.

Yes, it was the propane! I should have thought of that . . . duh.
I thought this ran on electric also? Does the furnace run strictly on propane?

This is my first trailer - Im still learning.

Yes it is propane only. Some AC units have an optional heater unit. But most people just add a small space heater to their gear.
