Good Sam Extended Service Plan - Seneca

We bought the Good Sam ESP when we bought our Seneca at Camping World... and once again - Our rig is getting ANOTHER Air Conditioner replaced, this time it is not on the Jayco Warranty, but on the GS-ESP.

Our service advisor tells me that we are responsible for the cost of shipping them (CW) the AC unit from the supplier since they do not have one in inventory .

I read the ESP fine print and do not see anything mentioned other than a sneaky disclaimer "Items not covered" I called the GS-ESP and they would not give me an answer today... I'm feeling like I am being scammed by Camping World once again...

Who has had experience with GS-ESP???

It sure sounds like CW taking advantage of the problem. I looked at their web site and A/C units don't get free shipping due to size, but the cost on a Coleman-Mach 8 shipped direct from the manufacture to me is only $10. So don't let them give you some crazy shipping cost.

Andy - the Service Adviser at the Draper center said it would be $50-$75.

If it was me I would go to the CW web site and find the A/C they are going to replace, put it in the cart then have it figure the shipping cost and take a screen shot or print the page. I would not bitch about $10 but $50-70 is a ripoff when it should cost nothing.

And the absurdness dealing with Camping World Draper continues... Now the 3rd Air conditioner that has failed is confirmed to be bad. A Coleman HP2 - 15,000BTU unit.

It won't be covered under the manufacturers 2-year warranty, even though it is only one year and a few days old. It has to be covered by the "GOOD SAM Extended Service Plan" that we purchased from the dealership when we purchased the coach - and they are saying that the costs to ship a replacement AC unit from California are not covered. I will have to pay an extra $75.00 for shipping (that has taken 5-days when it was promised in 2-days).

The Bill of Lading shows the shipping is paid by a third party (Yellow Freight # 28047383)

I called Good Sam 3 times today... One guy was straight up with me and said that there is another Good Sam Extenden warranty, from Assurant that is different - the others that I tried, they gave me the run-around and said they don't pay for any shipping of any parts as it is called out in exclusions (item 11 - see the pictures and tell me if I am nuts)

I read this to say that the exclusions are saying... we don't cover "freight you are carrying on your motorhome"... That is excluded. I don't feel this section is saying: Freight of all the replacement parts is the customers responsibility. - what if you needed a Transmission????

This is why I don't buy extended warranties.

Now I'm starting to agree... This was a waste of time and money - Am seriously questioning why I continue going back to Camping World now.
