Unhappy Hot water coming out hot and cold tap??

I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts. We have a 2015 Jayco Jayflight 28BHBE We are out on an extended camping trip and we have hot water coming out both the hot and cold tap on all sinks and the shower. It is good and hot water but only for 2 or 3 minutes then it goes ice cold on both sides. As you can imagine this is a problem with taking showers. Could we have not flipped something correctly on the water heater bypass after we dewinterized our camper? My other thought from reading is the one way valve that the water enters the water heater through failing letting hot water back into the cold water lines. I'm hoping that isn't is since that is a trip to the RV dealer and our warranty just expired 2 months ago I was also hoping we can fix this while we are out. Thanks for any thoughts.

Most likely your water heater bypass valve is open. Look under the bottom bunk. Should be an access hatch to access them. Only other thing that can communicate is when hot and cold valves are open on the outside shower.

I was going to say just that. Check your outside shower and make sure the valves are closed. Not just shut off with the switch on the nozzle. Even our bathroom Shower head has that shutoff switch. Check there too.

X3 (or is it 4?)

On something is interconnecting your hot and cold lines.

Double check that the water heater's bypass valves are firmly seated in the 'Summer' position.

X a lot!

Another place to check is your outside shower. Make sure both valves are closed.
