How much weight on the roof?

On Harvey the RV, my 2010 Greyhawk 31FS, I need to do the yearly roof maintenance.

Question is: How much weight can the roof hold? I was thinking of bringing the power washer up on there (it is about 25-30 pounds), but I am a 260 pound guy and don't want to see a big hole where once I stood...

how long is your hose ... myself I would leave pressure washer off the roof and just bring the hose up there

I would yield more caution and observe the weight limit loaded onto the rear ladder if there's one.
Other than that many owners doing their own roof maintenance will use large pieces of plywood while walking on the roof top.

Just watch the Jayco roof video on their site, that will tell you enough.
If you put your pressure washer on the roof be sure to put something underneath in order not to damage the roof. Be careful around the A/C seal with a pressure washer gun.

I purchased and extension hose for my pressure washer, or raise up the compressor with "something" but not on the roof.

I'm thinking out loud here... I'd be concerned with blowing a hole through the membrane using a PW. How clean does a roof have to be? Would a bucket of soapy water and a stiff boat brush on a long handle do the same job but much more safely?

X2!!!!

I just bring the hose, carwash brush, and a bucket. It takes no time at all to clean.

Your body weoght.is not an issue.

Mop and Glo helps prevent dirt buildup and black streaks. Easy to apply with a sponge mop.

Really? That's Good to know. Never would have thought of that one!

And I could just see the pressure washer vibrating itself to the edge and going over pulling the operator with it!!!

I'd be hesitant to use a power washer on the rubber roof. I've seen my preshure washer peel wood from my deck if I'm not careful!

As stated, a good non-citrus, non-petroleum based cleaner along with a medium/stiff bristled brush and some good ole elbow grease.

That being said, I've yet to wash the Diflex II roof on my 2016 and haven't decided what detergent I'm going use! LOL!
