IRV Issues

Does anyone else's IRV come on by itself & try to eject a DVD that's not even there? is this something simple or is my unit defective?

That's an interesting symptom. The first TT also an X23B, our stereo, not an IRV but a Jensen, did something very similar. The dealer was a long drive. I called Jayco, and explained the prob. They wanted the dealer to see it and I "whined" about the trip. In the end they sent the replacement stereo directly to me and I installed. They paid to ship the bad one back too.
Your stereo sounds defective, certainly a warranty issue (if you are the original owner and in the 2 yr warranty).

I have a IRV 6500BT in my TT and so far all works well on it except the AUX In and AV In on the front and rear of the unit are working intermittently so it's now at the dealer for warrantee repairs. I have never heard of this brand of radio before so I don't know the quality good luck!!

We have the iRV6500BT unit in our TT and haven't had any problems with it. Sounds like you have a faulty unit.

By the way, there are only 2 sets of connections in the rear. 1) Three composite ports for TV OUT and two RCA ports for Audio L & R In from TV (television).

Yep that's what's on the back. My RCA Audio in from the TV does not work..and on the front the 1/8" port for AV / Aux In, does not work also. So it's at the dealer and they are about to change the unit out.

I will eventually change out our unit. Hopefully Jensen (or others) will incorporate BluRay, Blue Tooth and HDMI into one unit.

I would think that todays entertainment systems would come with Blue Ray, HDMI and Optical audio if it's going to have any DVD like input/output. Yes me to Im looking at upgrading my stereo unit and the TT speakers which are a couple places down on my list.
