Jayco Customer Service and Schematics

Now that my camper is out of warranty I decided to do as a number of folks here have suggested and request a copy of schematics and diagrams from Jayco for my unit. So at 930pm last night I sent a Customer Service inquiry from the Contact Us link on Jayco's website asking for these documents to assist in ongoing maintenance and repair now that the trailer is out of warranty. I was pleasantly surprised to find a reply with 9 PDF attachments in my mailbox before 8am this morning.

The documents included several 12V and 120V schematics and circuit diagrams, side/roof framing and plumbing diagrams. These will be very helpful as I do more of my own repairs and maintenance. Just thought I pass along the positive response that I had from Jayco in this regard.

I've had the same results with what I needed. Glad to hear they hooked you up. Heck I even got a couple of phone calls after my requests to make sure I had the right stuff.

This is a differentiator for Jayco in my opinion. I would weight this in if buying a TT.

I am not out of warranty but I want to do this as well. I like having as much documentation as possible. It is nice to see they help out those out of warranty as well.

Made same request and had them in email next morning with exception of electrical, was told that trailer still under warranty so they wouldn't supply. Quick phone call and letting them know I was second owner and they said okay, hoping to see in morning.

Glad to hear JAYCO is still doing this. I have passed on to many posts about contacting JAYCO along with their VIN number to get drawings in PDF format...

I've requested construction details for specific areas of my TT on several occasions in the past couple years and Jayco CS has been very responsive.
On another note: My local Jayco dealer is also great in that regards. I called the parts/service dept yesterday to get some info and he called me back 15 min later after having to call the factory. I realize all dealerships are different but it does speak to a good "family" atmosphere.

When my Designer was one month old I contacted Jayco with a request for the wiring diagram for the audio visual components. I wanted only this schematic so I could hook up my satellite system and use existing coax to include the front TV as well. I was specific that I only wanted this one schematic and specified the reason I wanted it. They responded immediately and didn't hesitate at all.

I think if you want a complete list of build sheets that would be different than a smaller targeted request for a specific issue even when still under warranty.
