Jayco quality control
I have joined this forum to find out if everyone else has had the problems we have suffered on our way around Aus with a 1 year old discovery 18-6 toilet van (double wheeler).
On our first day the water pump flooded the cabin,4 connections loose.
After tightening the above we were flooded again from water leaks behind the shower.
Unit returned to Jayco factory and two split nuts found on shower taps.
Brackets on the roof clamps were also not aligned properly and relocated.
Next the above sink cupboard pulled out its hinge screws.
Travelling over a bumpy road most of the cupboards flew open and it was found the catches were misaligned and incorrect in height.
First heavy dew the boot leaked.
Travelling over a dirt rd to karijini the under bed space filled with red dust, climbing under I could see daylight such was the gap between the floor.
Next the draws under the sink began to jam,I had to insert 5mm packers under the end of the tracks to fix this as the rollers were dropping off the tracks.
I am furious having traded in a perfectly good 30th anniversary model to this disgrace of a van, where is the quality control?
