jayco soft spot on floor

I have just acquired this trailer .. used. The history:
started with the tent (got old ); acquired PopUp (got older);
In a Storm; Got a 2005 LGT 2005 25z.

Despite the fact that I danced on the floor prior to purchase,
there seems to be a soft spot around the kithen sink. seems
to be a known issue. Can someone provide me insight into mending
the floor ?

First welcome.

I'm not familiar with your particular trailer. Often "soft spots" are the result of water damage. I assume vinyl floor covering. Does the floor covering show any signs of staining? That can indicate water intrusion. Is the soft spot near a cabinet? If it is you can open the cabinet or pull the drawers for access to cut loose the vinyl inside and check for moisture.

There may be a design defect, but more often there is water problems.

Some info on my DIY repair is here.

I would go in from underneath if possible. Remove or cut an access in the underbelly and see what is going on. Easy to put in a brace under the soft spot unless it is water damage then you will want to fix that first.
