Leaking rear pop out between upper frame and inside wood.

HI all,
We have a 2004 Jayco EXP 23 which is a great way to camp. The rear pop out is leaking between upper rear metal frame/gutter where the metal meets the inside wood. It leaks on the inside on to the mattress. Any one else have a problem like this? I am going to get up on a ladder today and check the seal and caulking. I suspect that I have caulking seperation.
