Linear Series radio problems

We had our Linear Series CD/DVD/radio in our 2010 23b replaced under warranty because the display went dead and it would arbitrarily turn its self on/off while we were camping. The new unit now works great for about 20 minutes on radio then switches mode to iPod, Stop or Mute. I tried the reset button but it failed again. Has anyone else had problems with these radios? It seems really odd that I found two bad eggs in a row and I'm concerned that its a symptom of something else.

Troubleshooting Info:
Plugged into shore power
Battery shows full charge w/o shore power attached
No corrosion on the battery connections
12v lights and fan work fine
Problem occurs when at home and campgrounds so its not another camper's remote control or weak radio signal
No one sitting on remote

My next steps:
Test with a CD or DVD to see if that runs longer
Remove the batteries from the remote for good measure

Thanks in advance for any feedback or ideas.

Linear Series

With your having problems with both of the systems installed in your trailer, I would suggest switching brands. I know it's no help with your problem now, but if you just get another linear, you might just have problems again and still be dissatisfied.

Follow up..... Tested with the CD and the problem occurred again. The battery was originally at 12.5v and within 20 min of playing a CD the battery had dropped to only 11.1v and the radio changed mode from CD to Ipod. I think my problem is the battery itself in that it cannot maintain 12v under load for any length of time. At 3 Years old and probably too many full discharge then recharge cycles I think it may be done.
