new 330RSTS

Believe it or not the only thing that bothers me about our new Camper, is that the underside is not sealed very well, the black board covers overything but there are some gaps between the frame and the covering, not sure how to address this ,funny its the things that they would think you will never look at , I do not want critters getting in
must be some heavy duty tape I can use to seal up the underside better ...

I had those gaps as well. I just filled those gaps with black silicone and used steel wool with silicone for larger gaps.

I would suggest some sort of tape as well.
Silicone does not come apart easily if you need to get in there to address a leak.
Even duct tape on the underside may work. It doesn't hold up well in UV.

Can you provide some more details, such as a link or a product name?

The underbelly membrane was installed horribly on our 330RSTS as well. In at least 5 different places, the membrane was over 6" above the frame and in a couple of places, it didn't even reach the edge of the frame.

I went to the Tampa RV show this past January and saw my 2017 330RSTS as well as a 2017 338RETS at our RV park have a perfectly installed membrane so I know it can be done and someone just didn't give a crap when they installed ours. I think the problem is when they don't take any time at all in working the membrane around the waste tank plumbing, which in turn creates folds ripples on the other side. Even the rubber sticky mat they used under the waste water plumbing that extends thru the membrane fell off after about a month.

I tried pulling the membrane down and taping it to the frame but it wouldn't stay and when I pulled one part down, another went up. I ended up having to use spray foam to fill the gaps during our 4 month stay down south this past winter. It's now at the dealer for warranty work and it's one of the things on my list to get fixed. Don't know if Jayco balked at it being fixable under warranty or not yet.

In our 16 Eagle 321RSTS same thing on all black drain pipes going through the floor. Bought a can of expandable spray foam, once it dried a little black spray paint. No one will ever know. Happy Trails
