Question Now it's the kitchen sink drain (not)

My kitchen sink started a very slow drain this morning. I had noticed a gray tank smell in the last few days in the kitchen area... I removed the p trap and all is clean fron sink to trap. i see the vent pipe under the sink.... I read that it can get stuck. I took it off by don't know what it's should look like... Can that little rubber piece go bad or can the vent pipe be cleaned or should I get a new one?

Bath sink drains Aok.

Thanks for your help...

Z.

Try using a "clean" plunger to see if that helps push whatever it is down.

It could be an air admittance vent gone bad.
