Propane leak?

I just put a propane gauge /kind of leak detector on my tank, opened the valve, made sure all appliances are off, and closed the valve, the pressure indicator was looking good initially for few hours there was no change, but it dropped to red zone by next day, so something is bleeding, I guess... Is it normal or I need to be concerned? I smell-checked all connections under trailer and fridge/stove/heater/furnace and can't smell anything.
Anyone knows what is acceptable depressurization time?

This seems to be normal. Mine behaves the same way. If gauge goes down rather quickly after closing the tank then I would take that as an indicator to do further checking for potential leaks. That's primarily what I use mine for.
