New to the forum but we have owned our 304BHK for 5 years. We absolutely love it with the 3 kids having room to move around. Well yesterday I went out to ready the old girl for travel and when I opened the outdoor kitchen hatch the strut popped off and upon inspection it appears that the hatch has gotten water intrusion and the press board sandwiched between the fiberglass outside and texturized cover underneath is now squashy. The bracket for the strut is basically being held in place by the screws into the texturized underside cover. My question is has anyone had this happen? What repair options are there? I am very diligent in inspections and regularly check on her. I can't figure out how the water got in. But I do see what appears to be drain holes on the edge of the hatch. Any info is greatly appreciated!
