I just did the exact same install on my 36ft Eagle, right in front of the axles. I got mine from HF and they're on sale for $32. Gonna try them out early next week.

I don't think that's right. BAL makes x-chocks specifically for wide-stance axles:


These apparently go out to about 18 inches of spread; if you're at all interested, it's worth taking a measurement.

home made wheel chocks

I made a set of these and they work great!
