Roof material wrinkled

Just wondering if this is a common sight on these RVs. I've had this 2013 Eagle 5er for about a week now and first time on the roof I noticed a few wrinkles where the material is raised about 3/8". I've got an appt next week for some other items and would bring this up if it's a problem.

I'm assuming that the wrinkles you are seeing are not being caused by a edge being loose and the roofing material coming loose from that edge causing the wrinkling. My belief (and I've been told by my dealer) is that a few wrinkles are no big deal. However, my suggestion would be that you report the wrinkling as a possible problem. Let the dealer check it, and they will probably report that no problem was found. Make sure their report is listed on your receipt (which should be for $0); if a problem later develops with your roof, the receipt may help you with a potential roofing warranty issue.

Agree. Get the dealer to note it on the invoice for any future concerns. Ours has ripples and some spots where it is not glude down. I have never seen a rubber roof that did not have some loose spots. Have not caused us any problems.

Good advice from rvhiker. I would add to take lots of pictures of the wrinkles and if possible use something like a pencil laying next to the wrinkle to show dimension.

All good information, thanks. The wrinkles are not at the edges, mainly a couple near the bathroom vent, so will make sure that this, along with several small items, gets noted when it goes in next week. Just had the Eagle out again and my wife cannot stop saying "have I said that I love this trailer?".

The ones I have are not really "wrinkles" but just along the rear to the TT, say 3" it seems like its not glued down but still secured by the rear trim. I've actually seen this on numerous TTs so never thought much of it.

Picked up my 5er today and its as was said, the wrinkles are not a problem, but were noted on the repair order.
