Roofing material loose around edge.

Hello fellow Jayco people. I was up inspecting my roof and I noticed the top side edges of the roof are loose or not glued down. Is this standard or do I have a problem?

I have an appointment to drop the trailer off at the dealer for some warranty work (inside molding coming off the walls and exterior running light not flush with the side) this week and wondering if this should be addressed by the dealer as well.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

That is interesting. Took me a while to understand this but I can see in your picture how you can move the piece by the edge right over. My trailer is older and I know I can't do that with mine. Here is your problem from what I see. Do you trust the guys at the shop to take it apart and fix it. Because it's close to the edge they should be able to without much problem, or do you leave it alone and have it documented. If you think it can be moved around by the wind while driving I would have it fixed, otherwise I think I would leave it. It will be interesting to see how the new Jayco handles this.

I could be wrong, but I think that's completely normal. There was a thread here a few months ago on this topic, but I can't find it.

Thanks folks for the response, I really appreciate it. I'll be dropping the trailer off today at the dealer and have added this to the list for them to review. I really just wanted to see if this is normal or not and hopefully the dealer's response / opinion would coincide with the majority opinion here.

Well I took my trailer in for some warranty work and it would appear that this is pretty standard and not an issue to worry about. Best part is they were able to address my other issues on the spot and after about 30 to 45 minutes, I was back on the road headed for home with my trailer in tow.

I feel pretty fortunate to have purchased our trailer from a great dealer.
