Sanitization/winterization 2015 Greyhawk 29MV

Okay, so I'm new to this and my lack of knowledge will really show through. Last winter I had service winterize my camper and even though I had hoped to watch the process closely, circumstances caused me to be unavailable. So now I am left with the question "How did they do it?" I know the switches and their settings, but how did they get the antifreeze into the system? Likewise, How do I get the bleach solution into the fresh water tank for sanitization? Does it require the pump to be on? Is there an intake tube? I am good once I get the stuff in the system, I just am confused on the entry part.

Thanks for your kindness!

Usually a short hose near the water pump to place into anti-freeze and draw into the system.
When using anti-freeze, bypass water heater.
You will need to open a valve to that short hose to pump anti-freeze.

As far as getting clorine into fresh water, you can put that into hose connection to fresh water tank. Some people use a funnel and dispense a 1/2 cup into hose before connection. Connect water hose and fill system. Run water out of all faucets and allow to set for 4 hrs. Flush system until smell of chlorine disapates.

As Doug said it should have come with a piece of hose (about 2 ft with a male hose fitting) that you stick into the antifreeze jug and turn on the pump with the utility valves set to wintetize. You can use a bucket of bleach and water to sanitize as well. Besure to turn the inlet screen over to push the check valve open, makes the pump work easier.

Lifesaver!

Thank you so much, Doug! I had seen the tube attached to the pump under the bed and suspected it was involved. The tip you gave for sanitization is spot on! You have made my life so much easier!
