We have a smaller slide on the bedroom, also Schwintek, that has worked perfectly every time. I'm thinking that the motors and controller have been replaced on the big slide, but that final alignment adjustments have definitely been off. Have an appointment at the dealer's in 2 weeks for this problem and I plan to emphasize getting it properly aligned.

After 2 plus months at Richardson's RV the dinette slide finally works yet again, after the 3rd failure. Only issue now is that it doesn't close tight on the bottom rear corner. Enough gap for light, bugs, and road dust. Jayco says that another wipe seal or styrofoam could be used to fix it. I'm thinking that it may be miss-aligned??? Maybe all 3 failures were due to miss-alignment? Could the dinette slide box be unsquare? Or is this a regular issue for Jayco?

The single living room dinette slide in our 2013 Eagle was misaligned "by one tooth", as the service rep said. Wasn't pulling in tight on rear and once realigned is good.

We had a Lippert hydraulic slide system on our last trailer. Nothing but problems and $$$ wasted.

How do you tell what brand of slide out you have?

Realigning by a tooth or two sounds better than just stuffing more rubber or styrofoam into the crack. I will suggest or insist on that.

Schwintek is easy due to slide having 4 shiny metal tracks, 2 on each side. Others I don't know. Lippert makes them all.

Schwintek slide out problem
Yesterday we were packing up to leave and my wife said the bedroom slide would not come in. Checking, I found that she was spot on. one side moved, the other not a smidge. I got down on my fat belly and looked around on the inside and saw a wiring harness that was disconnected at the bottom of the slide on side 2. The control box was telling me that the side 2 motor was not running.
I reconnected the connection and the slide came in but had errors. The motor harness is shown in a picture 1-2 in the following link.
When we got home I re-synched the slide per the Lippert instructions, http://www.rvtechlibrary.com/exterior/breezeslide.pdf.
After running the slide in 10 inches, then back out until it completely stopped 3 times, the error code went away.

Our bedroom slide has stopped working. One side will go and the other won't, luckily we got it shoved in semi-manually when we left Disney. Now we have to wait until July 10th to get the thing looked at. So I guess our next utv riding trip will be cancelled or we will go ad just not be able to use our bedroom...or I will sleep there alone with slide in since it's to confined for DH to sleep there.
