Shower Faucet Replacement

I was getting frustrated trying to get a service appointment to have someone look at the leaky shower faucet in my HTT. I had replaced the shower hose and handle but it continued to leak. Purchased a new faucet assembly from the dealer and thought it looked like an easy swap out. I located the access panel to the plumbing in the rear bunk area and went about replacing the whole fixture. Pretty simple removal and replacement.

When I inspected the leaky faucet, there was a crack in the fixture where a very small pipe/tube connected the hot and cold water inlet. Probably saved a couple hundred dollars on the service call.....

Yep, if I can fix it I do. The added benefit is the dealer does not have an opportunity to break something else.

I changed mine a few weeks ago. It wasn't leaking but a knob cracked and the complete faucet was only a few bucks more than knobs at $17.96 from Amazon. 5 minute job.

Great work done Boubay. I didn't knew that it was so easy to replace the shower faucet. Recently, a friend of mine has too faced the problem of shower drain blockage, and got it repaired by hiring the main drain cleaning NJ. Well, the service was good enough and has cost a fair price to him. I think, not all the service costs hundred of dollars for the repairs. Some genuine professionals charge fair rates too.
