Skirting loose on Whitehawk 27DSRL

Brought trailer home to clean & prep for the camping season & after washing the trailer some of the skirting & trim is loose. The sun was shining on the side with the issue, I am wondering if others are having this same issue, and if so how was it corrected.

I have the same camper. I've had the black skirting over the wheels come loose on both sides of camper. Both at rear of skirting over back tires where plastic skirting cracked and pulled over the screws. I've fixed with small nylon washers I painted black and screwed skirting back on. May not be best fix but has worked so far.

One change that I made was replacing the original skirting screws in with stainless steel ones because I was tired of the rust stains they made.

The skirting on my Eagle kept coming loose, so I replaced the "self-tapping machine screws" with stainless steel bolts & stainless steel nylon-insert lock nuts. Had to drill out the holes in the skirting, backing, and strapping, so the bolts would fit, but no big deal. After driving about 800 miles, the lock nuts are still tight and the skirting is still snug.

OK Guys, maybe I didn't describe the issue correctly. So I'll try again. The colored metal at the lower part of the trailer and the moulding between it and the fiberglass siding are seperating when the sun heats up the metal. It appears to only be attached with a metal screw on each end and maybe an adhesive in between. All I can find on Jayco Owners is a thread where they put some screws about every eight inches to correct this. Just looking for ideas.
