Skylight repair

Last winter when I was putting the cover on my 32TSBH I accidentally put my foot through the outside pane of the skylight in the shower. Anyone been through this before and have any advice on how to properly repair this? I'm guessing with the size 12 boot sized hole, i'm going to have to replace the skylight.

A quick search on the forum turned up a few things, but I thought I'd see if anyone had anything specific they'd recommend.

Thanks!

I'm in a similar situation. On the roof with the cover, and didn't step on it, but noticed a crack through one of the screw holes, heading to the middle. I'll be doing something about it when the cover comes off.....as soon as it's not 17 degrees out.

Mine was cracking, so I measured the old one and bought a new one on Amazon. It was around $90, which seems like a lot for a piece of plastic. It's a little work removing most of the sealant to remove the old shell, but after that it's not too bad a chore. And I think the new cover is made of a higher quality material, too.
