Slam Latch door adjustment?

I have the fiver in my sig. The doors to the basement on both sides bind at the rear bottom corner when closing. It requires a little force to close them. The vertical gap on the binding side is much closer than the other side.

Can I adjust them myself? The top horizontal hinge has two short screws that hold the long hard plastic door part of the hinge inside the aluminum outer hinge tube. Is it as simple as removing the two screws and tapping the plastic hinge part to even the gap on both sides?

I can take to dealer but if it is a simple adjustment, I'd like to save the trip. Any input appreciated!
