Slide out

Hello again, I have a 23ft. Jayco Jay feather exp. It has the electric slide out... When I slide it out it seems like it catches on the bottom and want settle and go flush on the top... It has about a 1 inch gap from becoming flush.... So my question is, Is there anyway to adjust these? I look around it and under it and cant find a way to do it... Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it... Thanks

My brand new Greyhawk 2013 slide was coming out uneven and hanging up. I took to repair shop under warrenty and the said they hooked it up to an electronic pad and reset it. They had to find the connector located in the motor home. It has worked fine since.

A good dealer can adjust that slide for you. Is your trailer still under warranty?

I would say NOT.... last thing you need is for the slideout to fall on the floor.... dont ask how I saw this happen...

Sean, when the slide fell to the floor, that must have scared the stuffin out of the owner. Hopefully the only thing hurt was his ego.

xradcon30, if you have a Schwintek slide, they can be adjusted with the controller. You can get info on the web on the Lippet site, also on YouTube. They have my controller for the slide burried under the fridge. You would have to be a contortionist to even be able to see it. Have your dealer do it under warranty, but I agree that as a owner it is handy to know how to adjust it yourself. When I bought my trailer the salesman didn't know how they worked and told me that there is a jack to bring the slide in if it broke down.
