Slideout seal protection

I am trying to remember to lubricate/preserve and seals around three slideouts. No problems doing this on the outside, but anyone have tips about how to lube the insides, especially across the top where there is no clearance for ones hand.

I was wondering the same... Just hadn't asked yet. Curious what the responses will be...

Slide Out Seal Cleaning and Treatment

I read (on this forum) that you could use rubber roof cleaner to clean the seals and then use this Seal treatment on the rubber. I used a “Swiffer” with disposable pads to clean both sides of the seal beyond where I could reach, from the outside. My seals were a little difficult to get under and stay under, but I kept trying and eventually got them nice and clean. I then used the Swiffer and clean pads to apply the seal treatment. They now look great.

This is probably the most recommended item for maintaining your seals:

303® Aerospace Protectant™ for long-lasting finish and shine

I have heard that you should put baby powder on the slide seals to prevent them from sticking. Would it work to put 303 as a protectant and then baby powder to keep them from sticking?

Thoughts?
