Spongey floor on 08 EAGLE 314 bhds

Hello all I have a issue that we just noticed happening this year and seems to be worse and of course getting ready for storage. We bought our 08 Eagle 314 bhds new and to the best of my knowledge have never had a leak that I can see around the kitchen area but the floor is getting soft around the cabinet area over to the carpet. It only seems to be about a 3 ft section any ideas on what I should do. What is the floor warranty? Hope not only 2 years on that too. The dealer that I bought it from is not a very dependable dealer so really not wanting to deal with them but don't want this to cost me too much let alone ruin the value of the camper. We did buy a extended warranty but don't think it will cover the floor. I never have seen water sitting in that area and the water lines run mostly the length of kitchen and don't run to the other side except at the back between the two slides. Should I contact Jayco and see if they can give me a good dealer or turn it into my insurance and let them find me some one to fix the issue. :fingerscross:

I think you should have your Eagle inspected by someone - probably a professional - that has the knowledge to determine what caused the floor to change conditions. You know you don't trust your dealer, so you can eliminate that step. As far as the cost goes, you have to decide what it's worth to you. Material and labor can add-up quickly. That's why it's important you work with someone that knows what they are doing. If you're handy, and decide to tackle the job yourself, you will get a lot of good help on this forum. Most of us have some ideas of what might have happened to your floor, but can't go much further without being there. Pictures and good narrative are helpful.

I doubt if Jayco is willing to warrant a condition on an '08. ... don't know what your extended warranty covers - I would check with them first.

I would check with your extended warranty first.
