stabilizers

3 of the 4 stabilizers aren't holding when I put them down. As soon as I remove the impact driver the screw backs up a turn and a half? makes no sense to me at all.

anybody know whats causing this and how to fix it?

this occasionally happens to me when the stabilizer contacts the ground before it has extended enough, such as if there is a lesser amount of extension space between the ground and the frame than usual. if you're using a couple boards between the ground and the stabilizer try removing one. the jack needs to open up more.

you can also just give it an extra half turn beyond where you had originally stopped and that usually works too.

Had that problem after lubing my jacks - these keep them in place.

Haven't really experienced this problem yet but just ordered a set of these to add to my "just in case" box - thanks!

ok so its just not me. BTW it started after i sprayed lube on the screws. so maybe if I wash the lube off. Just wanted the jacks to be smooth. I do like the little angles also.
