this occasionally happens to me when the stabilizer contacts the ground before it has extended enough, such as if there is a lesser amount of extension space between the ground and the frame than usual. if you're using a couple boards between the ground and the stabilizer try removing one. the jack needs to open up more.
you can also just give it an extra half turn beyond where you had originally stopped and that usually works too.
