storage compartments repair question

I have a 2003 Greyhawk and my storage compartments on the the underside of the RV need repaired. The support brace holding the compartment in place for support is seperating and needs reattached in some way. It looks like the mfr used some sort or adhesive on the sheet metal to hold it all togeter since I don't see any rivets or bolts holding it. Has anyone done this repair?. Your help is welcome. Thanks

If you are talking about the piano hinge between the unit and door then I would suggest 5200 fast dry silicone. I used this on my last unit to hold the locks in place and have used it on boats the same. It takes 24 hrs to set up, but once it's dry it's on for good.

Another avenue would be a 2 part epoxy of some sort, but they do not flex like the silicone does and being a moving part you are in and out of I suggest the 5200.

A picture might get more suggestions and fixes.

Good luck!
