TV mount broken

The TV in our trailer is on a swivel with the TV on one side and a mirror on the other. The top post came loose and now the console that swivels also flops back and forth. I cannot access the top side of the post as it is under the inside floor of the cabinet above. It looks like there may may have been a machine screw that threads into the post to keep everything tight. Does anyone know about this or how it works? I am a little upset that this happened on a trailer that is only weeks old...and I would rather not take it back to the dealer for what I think is a small issue that can be fixed with a screw...I hope. Thanks.

The floor of the cabinet is probably just stapled down. You should be able to pry it up (gingerly) and get to where the post is mounted.

Thanks

Thanks Grumpy!...I did pry up the cabinet bottom and i find a bracket that has two of the smallest wood screws that I have ever seen...there are four holes in the bracket...only two screws. They pulled through the wood due to the torque of the entire tv console cabinet. Put new longer all four screws in and put the cabinet bottom back in. All done, but I am now hoping that craftsmanship is not throughout our unit. Thanks again!
