Umm...... How much???

I had a small cupboard door under the stove open while driving and the door broke in half. I called my dealer to get a quote on a new cupboard door and 2 days later they tell me that Jayco wants to charge $500 for a 18" x 12" cupboard door. Are you kidding me????

That seems steep, talk with a couple local cabinet makers and see what they can do for you.

Maybe for the WHOLE cupboard but not just the door! And even that is outlandish! Jeeez!

Please explain, did it actually break in half or did the joints just come apart. Like to see a picture of this one and how old is this trailer.

You should be able to repair it yourself with some good glue and wood working clamps.

There are numerous on-line cabinet door suppliers. Take a little time browsing them, and you can come up with a match, and I'm SURE that it'll be for less than $100 for a single door....

you might have accidentally told them you wanted the "Gold Plated Titanium" cabinet door, which is always a little more expensive...

That is to scare you away because they don't want to be bothered helping you.

I paid less then that for the Sliding Solid door that was installed in place of an accordion door to the bedroom in my 35UN, Jayco did the modification. I think the door delivered to my house (Originally the dealer was to install the door, Long story) was like 478.

Exchange rate plus any fees/taxes to import to Canada or was that quote in US dollars? Is the dealer getting his "cut" as well?

Not saying it's right but,:

Supplier makes sells and ships door to JAYCO. $
JAYCO sells and ships door to dealer . $$ (now add duty fee and exchage rate)
Dealer marks up and sells to customer $$$.

Umm...... How much???

Check with another dealer...

I just ordered a new bathroom cabinet door for a mod I am doing(easier access to under bunk storage) and I believe I paid less the $80...this also includes hinges and handle.

I can just say that I would not pay it. No justification for that costing 500 bucks, no way no how.

You can buy cabinet doors at Home Depot or Lowes. They come in many styles / sizes. You may have to do some minor modifications, sanding and staining but it would be well worth it. That is an insane price.
