Warranty Coverage Opinions

Hi folks, just looking for some thoughts and opinions, opened up the trailer this spring and we found an 8 inch crack in the plastic shower stall as well as a vertical crack in the bathroom vent plastic frame. The Whitehawk is about 8 months old, so still some warranty left. Would this be covered under warranty?

I would surely hope so - under material defects. Be interested to see some pictures and hear how you make out with your dealer.

We just parked it at a seasonal sight for the summer, was hoping not to bring it back to town until September. So it will be interesting to see what happens.

In general I think Jayco has been pretty good about warranty repairs. I'm hoping they won't give you any trouble and will step up on this one. Let us know the outcome.

I would at least get it documented at a dealership. Jayco is very good about their warranty.

They should cover this under warranty. We had a buch of stuff like hat done as year, includin the bezl/frame around the skylight in the shower. We just discovered last week when we uncovered fo the winter that the plastic fender skirt has a 4" vertical crack in it that wasn't there last fall. I'm going to ask abut that tomorrow when I run it in so they can install the new sliding door for the bedroom that got gouged up on one of the leading edges.

Jayco and my dealer has taken good care of me. The last unit I owned was the worst.

Thanks for the replies, all positive reviews on Jayco's warranty. Hopefully it all works out for us. I've got quite the list going with things I gotta get looked at.
