What do you lubricate your slide-out with?

The slide-out on my daughter's trailer was blowing fuses. When I crawled under it I saw that everything on the slideout track was bone dry. I sprayed some WD40 on it because that's all they had and for the time being it's working fine.

I was thinking that some spray lithium grease would do the trick but now I'm concerned that it will attract dirt. I've heard dry lubricants mentioned. Does anyone have any ideas?

In case it matters, the trailer is not a Jayco, it's a Rockwood Roo. Can I assume they're all similar?

Isaacs-

We use Slide Out Dry Lube Protectant by Protect All.
Clean off the mechanism then just spray light coating on. Helps to keep the slide working well and also prevents rust.
Thetford also makes a similar product which lots of folks use.
Either one works well, just keep up your maintenance and it will be fine.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

Dry lube only, even WD-40 will collect grit.
