Wheel Bearing Parts

I am getting ready to repack my wheel bearings DIY for the first time. Do you normally replace your seals when you repack your bearings or do you reuse the existing seals? I am worried about damaging them when I remove the inner bearing.

Yes, always replace the seals when inspecting and repacking bearings. Prevents potential grease leakage into the brake system. And they are relatively cheap.

X2!
Most of the time I never get the seal out without damaging it slightly anyway.

Next question-can I pick up seals at my local auto parts store or is this something I need to procure before starting?

I'd probably go back to your dealer for them. Not sure an automotive parts store would carry them.

Do I need any information other than my model number? I'm pretty sure it's a Dexter axle with 15" wheels but don't know much more than that.
