X17Z Damage

Hello!

So I lent my 2016 X17Z out to someone and they were going on ferry and got some damage to the side. The awning will need to be replaced, storage hatch door and side is scratched. I am worried that it could have done damage to the panels/seal... Thoughts? Most RV places around me are booking service appointments in August right now.. Worried that if I use it for the summer it might get water damage if the seal is no good?

Looking at the pictures most of it looks like cosmetic scrapes like it rubbed across something. The only place I can see that water could get in is just forward of the hatch door on the corner but its so low I think its below the floor. I don't see anything that would keep me from using it the rest of this season. If the awning is damaged just don't use it.

To me it looks all cosmetic. Have your insurance agent come out and look at it. Get down on your back and look closely. If it looks like potential break in the sealant. If you are not comfortable with doing any sealing. Get gorilla tape, that is weather proof, and tape it up for the season. Enjoy it, and fix it during the off season.

Hello to you! Welcome to the forum.

From the photos, I'd agree with Sundancer330.
