Just bought a used 2006 34SS, but don't know those details yet. Will get a full tour in a few days. If you haven't found it by then, I'll drop a message here.

OK. Mine does not have a water filter built in. That must be on the later models. I just bought one of the Camco units just to be on the safe side.

Note that you posted this to a very old thread (2011).

But, regarding safety, the Camco unit will filter sand etc. but really nothing beyond that. There are topics in this forum dealing with water issues (safety etc.) and different approaches taken by different JOF members.

The filter on an 07 was an inline filter under the sink on the cold side only. It is a true PITA to install and remove for winterizing. The previous owner may have not used it for that reason. JAYCO included a straight piece of waterline to be inserted when the filter was removed.

Haha!! You're right. I never looked at the date. But thanks for the advice. Im not all that fond of that particular inline anyway. We don't usually drink water from the faucets anyway, but we do brush teeth, etc. And the dogs' water comes from the tank. Hoping to get something reasonably good, so I"ll check out those threads.
