2008 Greyhawk 31SS

Recently purchased a used 2008 Greyhawk 31SS and am very happy so far. The only question I have is about the cabinetry. There is a cabinet that has a dark glass front. It is hinged on the bottom and flips down. Inside the cabinet is two pieces of Velcro stapled down and there's a electrical outlet inside? Anybody familiar with what's its use?
And also I found a sub woofer under the couch, is there a factory installed surround system? I only noticed on a DVDs player, would there be a additional components needed? Or is it hooked directly to tv?
Sure would like it o hear from people familiar with this model features. Thanks in advance.

I have a 2004 Granite Ridge 31SS that has a subwoofer under the rear table bench. The subwoofer is connected to a CD/DVD/radio in our cab over console. The DVD is connected to our TV, subwoofer, and surround sound speakers.

We have a 2008. The glass front compartment contains our entertainment system. We have factory installed surround sound for the TV, radio, and CD player.
