2011 new Greyhawk 31fk Ac issues.

We recently purchased this new RV, we have had lots of issues already. Every time we take it out, we have to waste time and take it back to dealer. Cabinet doors falling off, DVD / nav system needed replaced, alignment was horrible, speakers outside did not work, trim falling off, accompanying grill was missing parts, front door would not close properly, etc. For the purchase price of this rv, we are getting frustrated. The latest is the A/C, it is not cooling the way it should. Our friends have a trailer from Jayco, there a/c is extremely cold. This will make our 4th trip to dealer in 1 months of ownership!!! Extremely disappointed with our purchase, we thought Jayco would be a reputable company that would QC there products a little better!

Anyone here with similar model had issues with there brand new AC ?

We have the same motorhome and we just got home from a trip. While traveling, the front panel on the sofa fell off, two cabinet doors fell off and the propane tank started spewing propane. We are so disappointed with the quality of this motorhome, as we also thought Jayco was a reputable manufacturer. We have an appointment to try to resolve these issues. Also, trim in shower comes off. Our navigation system goes off every time we hit a bump. We had ours aligned when we first got it because we could not keep in on the road. We also installed a roadmaster steering system and that worked well., Good luck.

Sorry to hear you are having so many problems with your new MH. We purchased a 2004 Jayco last year and have only had minor problems so far. One thing I would strongly suggest is this. BEFORE you take it back to the dealer for the fourth time, please take the time to go over your MH top to bottom, front to back. Make a list of EVERYTHING that you can find that needs to be fixed and present it in writing to the dealer. Make sure you keep a copy. Then, when the dealer calls and says it is ready to pick up, bring your list with you to the dealer AND DO NOT LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP until you have checked everything on your list and personally verified that it was fixed. I realize that some of the items you listed above were not discovered until you took a trip. However, a close inspection by you beforehand could save you some trouble. I think I would also call the Jayco factory and let them know of your problems and frustrations. Good luck, and keep us posted as to what progress they make in repairing your unit. I used the above procedure a few years ago on our new fifth wheel and it worked out well.

We have a 31DS and have had non-stop issues since our purchase last year. We spent almost as much time going back and forth to the dealer as we did camping. We complained to Jayco, but it did absolutely no good.

AC unit was replaced, door lock on entrance door was replaced, moldings are coming loose, screws holding couch to wall fell out, window blinds broke, valves for water inlet don't do what they are supposed to, light switches were on upside down, we have had to replace almost every light bulb already, gps/radio system went out and on and on. This spring, even though the unit was less than a year old, we had to have roof "maintenance"
done at a cost of $300. We had a 1997 Class A prior to this purchase, and we did not have near the problems in the old one we have found in the new one. It is very frustrating and thank goodness we took out an extended warranty because I am sure we will need it.

Jayco needs to get their act together in my opinion! Quality of their workmanship is just not what we had been led to believe.

We also had a Class A before our Class C and it is really hard to come down. We may go back to a Class A after our last trip in this Greyhawk if we get it put back together.
