2012 31fs slide toppers

Does anyone have slide toppers on their 31fs that can help me?
I want to get toppers but the slide sits within 2inches of the awning on the right side. I wanted to see if someone has them and could shed some info for me.
Thanks in advance

Our 2014 37FS came with slide toppers installed from the factory. They were able to fit one on the bunk slide even with the awning just to the right.

Thanks, Could you send me a picture? That would really help me in figuring out how it's gonna work

Here you go. It's tight, but there's no interference.

No interference is good enough! Did Jayco happen to give you the part number for the awning? It looks like yours are the Carefree Kover II or III.

Thank you!

Looking at where the Slide topper's bracket is installed, it looks like they slid the slide topper away from the awning side just slightly.
At least on every unit I've seen, the bracket would have been right up against the trim - on this install it's just a little to the left of the edge of the trim.
But if that makes it work . . . .

Thanks HV98, yours looks like the Kover III to me too. I tried to figure out how to order one that would fit, but it looked to me like the standard sizes wouldn't work. If you ever get a chance, could you measure the width of the awning (not the fabric) end to end? A lot to ask, so I understand if it's too much.

Thanks,

James

Ok so I finally got around to measuring the bunk side and I believe this model should fit:

I installed the Lippert RV Solera Awning 12.5' Slider White V000163298 on my 2012 GH 31FS. I went with this model because it was easy to cheat it towards the rear for clearance issues. Later I changed my main awning so I had the cheat it forward to clear the rear.

What size main awning did you install? The awning that we have now is so small.

This was a custom job I did myself. It is 23 feet long now. I relocated the rear leg to the back of the coach. The purchased a 23' tube and awning. It's really nice now.
