Yep, auto just switches over from LP to shore/gen power and vice versa.
If I were to run my fans all night, I'd probably wake up with one bar on my battery indicator. Certainly not a dead battery, considering I always run my genny for awhile at night while boondocking just to top off the battery. The only time I've ever had a low voltage code on my refrigerator, is while boondocking in freezing weather while running the furnace all night.
I would connect to shore power if possible, to fully charge. Check your battery with a meter....that should narrow things down.
