2014 Seneca Oil Change Filters Lube

At $300 for Freightliner to do it I'm sure there are some owners out there that are DIY.

What interval are you doing the PM? Annually or at the regularly scheduled Freightliner recommended intervals?

Where do I get the fuel and oil filters? Part numbers?

What oil are you using?

Owning a diesel is expensive when it comes to maintenance. One thing you should not skimp on is filters, for fuel, oil and air. Buy the best you can. Not all filters are created equal and a diesel is not a thing to skimp on when it comes to these.
$300.00 does not seem too bad for that size rig. I am sure it holds over 14 qts of oil and filters can go anywhere from $15.00 to $50.00 depending on type and size.

If you are going to do a DIY I would just buy the Freightliner parts from a truck supply in your area. Your owners manual should have the intervals, part numbers and type of oil to run. You're in a break in period and should probably run full dino still until you hit the 15-20K mark then you can go to some synthetic blends or full.

I change my oil at 6 months or 5K whichever comes first and air and fuel filters once a year since I have yet to break 10K a year on my TV.

I run full synthetic fluids yes they cost more but then so does an engine replacement. Factory filters only but you can find them online from discounters.
