2015 Greyhawk driver legroom too small, short?

Hi all!

We're looking at new Greyhawks Class C motorhomes, 31DS, 31FK. Being 6'2", 240 lbs, I find my left knee resting uncomfortably on the interior driver door handle while sitting in the driver seat.

Also, I am unable to stretch my left leg out all the way out, as it seems the seat doesn't go back far enough.

Has anyone else had this problem, and what did they do to correct it. Can I remove and maybe place the driver seat back further?

Thanks in advance

Sounds right..mines a 2014..that step up seems to be right there and the slide out starts immediately after..im only 5'9". You came to the right place though
If something can be done you will know shortly

Gary, I own a 31DS and I am not tall, but I understand your issues. because of the step-up and the slide I don't believe you will find any solution for your problem. the passenger side is even tighter because the fold out couch won't allow the seat to recline very much. I would look at other MHs. A Class A, with it's level floor might suit you better.

Thanks for your help. We're thinking about getting a model that has *some* space between the driver/passanger seats and the slide and or booth, like the 29ME or other

I might be able to reduce the step up by a few inches near the driver/passenger seat, remove and reinstall the seats further back...

I just had a sprinter based RV and that cab is certainly something I will miss. However I relish in all the room that the new coach has versus what my 24.5' sprinter based rig had.

We'll look at the Winnie Aspect J later this week to see if their set up provides a better cockpit for me. I really don't want to go with a Seneca, but might have to.

The Thor Super C is based on the F550 chassis, not the E450, so that will provide the room needed.

Not to sure about that brand in term of quality, though

Cost and quality made me look at other choices over the Thor products.
