2016 31ds new toilet - DW is happy

Ok guys, if you want to get tons of atta-boys from the DW, go spend a couple shillings on a new Dometic china toilet. I've fixed/repaired/replaced/redone many things over the last couple years, but replacing the noisy, smelly plastic thingy that they say is a toilet has gotten me more hi-fives than any other.
I installed the Dometic 310 with sprayer. it is an actual home size ceramic bowel that has a home size seat. (the base that bolts down to the floor is plastic, but it's done well). I did have to shorten the water feed and install a 90* fitting to the tank (it's PEX pipe, ten minute job).
After I finished I decided that the seat supplied with the new toilet was better than what Jayco supplied when I bought the rig, but still not great. A quick trip to the orange big box store and I now have a "no slam" solid wood seat that in comparison is like sitting on a real throne.
DW is very happy - there for I am very happy.
I believe my total cost for all this happiness is less than $165.

I replaced mine 2 years ago. Best Mod ever! I also used the no slam seat but on my Dometic, I had to fashion a cover to place over the air inlet behind the seat.

Did you have to address that?

Answer to NORTY1:
I don't have a vent like you describe.

It was two nuts to remove, change water coupling to a 90* one and that was that.
I've had no slam lids at home and i'm so used to them that sometimes I forget when i'm out. My hosts must thing i'm a jerk.
