2016 Grey Hawk DS31

How many people have bought and what problems have you had?

Bought it in September
Was in shop for first 2 weeks after we bought it, For BAD VIBRATION went and took it had it for 2 weeks and used for one long weekend
Returned it with 15 small problems and still has bad vibration and have not seen it since 2nd week in October and the Dealer keeps trying different things and NO luck

So Far not impressed with Jayco and no response to 2 emails to jayco

That vibration is likely a 2016 Ford E450 chassis issue. They all had it. Forest River, Jayco, Winnie. I believe a fix has been available for awhile now (though I could be wrong). Your dealer needs to take it to Ford.

Have you been in contact yourself with Jayco Service in Middlebury? Can't hurt to make sure the factory folks are aware of your displeasure and working with your local dealer to get things resolved.

I have sent 2 emails and talked to a factory rep at a RV show and Nothing and have talked to Dealer where purchased coach every day past 2 weeks so Monday they are going to make this right the easy way or we can go the hard way
Before we went the class C direction looked at Several manufacturers and thought we was getting one of the best WOW was I wrong
I should have save 10 to 20 k went with the other brands

Don't know where you are located, but 99% of the time the dealer is the problem. As was mentioned, if they didn't take it to FORD,
"SHAME ON THEM". As to the " lemon law" it would also be with FORD the house part isn't covered.

As the former Fire Chief of a department that at one time had 18 Ford E-450-based ambulances in our fleet, we learned the hard way some dealers had a horrible track record in taking care our problems. They did great on our Expeditions, but not on the E-450s. We got the Ford regional service people involved and they steered us to a different dealer further away. And what a difference it made.

Even all Ford dealers are not created equal!

Dealer called today and say's coach has no more vibration and that Jayco is supposed to call me ( not holding my breath on that one since 3 emails 2 phone messages and talk to factory trailer rep at RV SHOW and nothing) Can't wait to see how many miles they put on it and I hope they fixed the 15 other items I had on list

Really not sure why and would like to know reason this has took 4 + months to fix if its fixed
Bad when there is only one Ford dealer in ST Louis Area that can work on the 450 kind of scary

It's not so much the "450" it's having a shop where the MH house will fit.
