We just love our 2015 29ME. Bought 2 weeks ago but having a time getting in the bed. Steps are so high. Any mods or suggestions?

Congratulation on the new MH and welcome! Sorry, not familiar enough with the unit to offer suggestions for getting into the bed.

are you talking the queen bed in the back?

I'm going from memory, since I wanted the 29ME but lost that battle to the family (we ended up in a 31FK) and I don't recall a big hop up to the bed.

In any event, we use a foldable step stool so my wife can pull things out of the top cabinets in the kitchen.

OP must be referring to the overhead bunk.

I am guessing they are discussing the Master Bed. The 2015 29ME is 6 inches higher then later models and is fairly high to climb into.

We love our 2015 29ME but I do find the climb into the bed to be challenging at times. Particularily at night, trying to climb out, when our Golden sets up shop at the bottom of the risers.

My only suggestion would be building a custom extra step on the passenger side riser. A little creativity and it could be turned into additional storage.
