29mv, 3 hoses on overflow of Fresh Water ? plug them all ???

Well I have looked at all the posts of using shut-off valves on the vent hoses to prevent the siphoning-loss of water when on the road...
My 2015 GreyHawk 29mv has three hoses coming out of the top of the water tank it appears...
Users state on most replies to put shut off valves on the Two hoses...
Well do I install shut off valves on all 3 hoses on my Greyhawk, as most of the people talking about these hoses have Jayco Trailers....
Thanks

I also have three hoses coming out of my tank. I’ve built a manifold with t and elbow fittings and one shutoff. This set up works great but you must remember to open and close the valve at the proper times.

Ours has 3 hoses as well and what we found worked for our Jayco motorhome was to cut off most of just one of the hoses and with enough room above the tank and below the floor (3-4") it sits straight up and prevents a sloshing overflow from occurring out the other 2 hoses.

Good idea!

I also have a 29MV with 3 vent hoses. I had a trailer with two vents, so when I sold it, I removed the 2 valves I had on that trailer and put them on 2 lines of the 3 on my Greyhawk. So far, that seems to have worked fairly well. I still lose a bit of water, but nothing drastic.

But my long-term solution is to make a vacuum break with some PVC parts. Another user here did this, and I thought it was a very elegant solution.

This problem of water loss is something I need to address before starting next years' travels....

I am following it as well.

I did find a Jayco memo someplace that stated if you route 1 of eh vent hoses up above the tank this will be enough to break the vacuum and stop the siphoning. I really wont be able to test this out until spring time.

In my 2016 29MV the freshwater tank is between the frame rails in front of the rear axle. How can I access the top of the tank?
