I have the same rv and just installed this one. It's a good one. Has replaceable parts of it was to take a hit. It also has under and over voltage protection

Get a progressive SURGE for minimal protection, and its cheap.
Get a Progressive SURGE and a Progressive EMS b/c the EMS is somewhat expensive and a surge will require you to send it back to the factory. However, if you have a SURGE in front of the EMS, given how cheap the SURGE is, it may not matter much to you if the SURGE gets fried.
Or go nuts like me and add a Hughes Autoformer into the mix. Pedestal --> Surge --> Autoformer --> EMS --> Camper.
About as good as you're going to get that way, but its expensive. However your trip is far less likely to be interrupted by poor park power (that's really where the Autoformer comes in); especially in the summer when everybody is spinning their AC(s).

Progressive Industries ems hands down for surge and other protection. Every rv should have one.
I have a 50 amp voltage booster from Frank's from 8+ years ago, but haven't needed it much at all.

You don't have to send it back to the factory to replace mov board. If the mov's go in your autoformer, you have to send it back to the factory. Also mov's are wearable parts. They have to be replaced after a while.
An autoformer will not protect from surges.

Progressive Industries EMS. You can get the portable one or the hard wired one... I've used both and it's just preference...

I know that, that's why it's after the Progessive Surge in my wiring sequence.

I've always toyed w/ the idea of a hardwired unit, but in the end I like the ability to unplug the unit completely should it ever prove to be defective in some way. 6 in one hand, half a dozen in the other.

Installing the 30 amp hard wired Progressive EMS was one of the first mod I did when I got the TT. Easy install just behind the fuse box and I will take it out when I sell the trailer. It's a great investment to protect your system and I've had it save me 2 times in campgrounds. IMHO, Well worth the bucks.
Happy RVing,
Jeff
