31FS a/c thermostat location

Where are they installing the thermostats in the newer 31FS? I have a 2012 and it is placed by the door, shairng a wall with the fridge. JAyco offered to remove the fridge and insulate around the thermostat or move it, but I did not want to take the risk having Camping World do the work. The problem we were having was the heat form the fridge (especially on LP) heated the wall up, throwing the thermostat off.

Just wondering where they have moved it to. I have seen pics of newer units and it is not by the door.

On mine it is on that same wall with the fridge. My other pet peeve about it is that the frosted glass in the house door allows a lot of light to radiate on the BLACK termostat.

We won't run on propane other than when traveling, so it may be hard for me to simulate your issue for a while.

sorry to necropost but on our '16 its in the same place, and the heat vent is just a few feet below it, has anyone successfully transplanted the thermostat to a different location?
