Right?! We have a pound puppy who's mostly collie, and he gets hair EVERYWHERE. In the spring, when he sheds his winter coat, you can literally see it falling off him in clouds and clumps!
So far, since I haven't bought that filter yet, I just do my best to keep the dust down with my California Duster, vacuum and sweep frequently (though there is little carpet) and I try to keep the stock air "filter" as clean as I can.
